The survey photo shows a tired lawn, overgrown rockery and formal hedging. Designed for a gardener and for all year round interest, the design incorporates a pattern of beds, along a diagonal grid which moves up and across the garden, creating movement and encouraging you to go and discover the orchard, wild flower area and vegetable plot beyond.
The planting nearest the house provides all year interest while further away the beds are divided into seasonal displays. The client finds that the way the design divides the garden into defined areas makes the garden very manageable and enjoyable to maintain.
